It's Melody's Birthday!!!!!!!!

It's my little girl's birthday today.  She turned 10 at 1:34am.  It's hard for me to think that she is now in double digits when this time 10 years ago we were both struggling to stay alive.

Melody was born at 34 weeks but stopped growing at 31 weeks.  I had pre-eclampsia and my placenta tore off the wall and she was born with no vitals.  It took them 17 minutes to revive her and she had 3/4 of her head bruised from a forceps into the uterus delivery.  She spent 2 weeks in the Special Care Nursery and here is a picture of her at a day old.

My sweet bunny at 1, she always loved smiling and pulling up grass in the yard.

2 years old and looking extra sweet as the flower girl at a friend's wedding!!

She loved bubbles, singing and looking for bugs at age 3.

Here she is living up to her name at the Ontario Science Center!!!  Look at my little 4 year old rockstar.  hehe

5 and being silly as always with a pullup on her head.  She loves to make people laugh and it always pulling silly stunts and goofy faces.

Only 6 and already learning to drive ;P......

She found treasure at the beach in Muskoka the summer she was 7.

This kid has some seriously long legs, she really is all legs.  This was at her 8th birthday party at nana and papa's house.

Here Melody is a month after she had her hair cut in honour of her sister Ruby.  She was able to donate 13 inches to Locks of Love.  She has such a great smile.  Here she is at her 9th birthday party.

I love you sweet Melody.  You are such a wonderful little girl and I'm looking forward to the next 10 years and our late night talks about the Lord.  Melody is also celebrating being a Christian for 6 years today.  Happy birthday sweetheart!!!!!

Ruby Tuesday Scripture Freebie ~ Matthew 19:26

This is another one of my favourite scriptures.  There are so many things in our lives that seem just overwhelming and too big for us to even know what to do with.  God is so amazing and He is the only one who can makes these things possible.

I'm still without a printer so no example this week.  I pray everyone is doing well and had a great Victoria Day weekend!!!!

Ephesians 4 vs.16 Fix and How To Download My Digi Stamps

I wanted to say thank you to giftshoppe2 for alerting me to a mispelling on one of my scriptures.  I've updated the original post and below is the new one with the correct spelling of ephesians.  If you see something like that on any other stamps, please let me know.  =D

Now to download the images, it's pretty easy.  Click on the image and it will open up into the bigger image.  Right click on it and just save it to your computer.  I edit my images in Word and size it to how I want, them print it out.  I hope that helps to the Anonymous person who was wondering how to download them.

I hope everyone has a great weekend and a Happy Victoria's Day tomorrow!!! Dee =D

Ruby Tuesday Scripture Freebie ~ 1 Peter 5 vs. 7

What a great scripture for all of us to keep close to our heart.  We have so much stress in our lives and what a comfort that we can just give it all to our Saviour b/c He truly does care about us.  =D

I couldn't make an example this week, my printer ran out of ink and we are in the midst of saving up to buy a new one.  We have a canon but I want to get an epson so that I only have to replace single colour cartridges.  But Theresa made a Gorgeous card!!! I really like the yellow designer paper she used to put the scripture on.

Card Examples from Theresa over at The Scrapbooking Queen (look at that gorgeous paper!!!!)

Ruby Tuesday Scripture Freebie ~ Psalm 37 vs. 4

If you are coming over from Free Digital Stamps, I have a freebie from last week  CLICK HERE FOR IT that you can get as well.  They get a lot of freebie offers and if they have one that anyone could make in a couple minutes on their word processor, they prefer it not to be sent so that they can give us all unique digi stamp links.  I don't want you all to miss out on it.  If you haven't come from there.... head over there, it's AWESOME!!! and those ladies do a lot of hard work getting the links for free digi stamps for all of us.

I was getting low on bookmarks that I add in as freebies with my card orders, so that was easily solved with taking this week's scripture and making it into a bookmark.  I really love this scripture and it speaks volumes to me that if we worship and take delight in our Saviour and Lord, He and only He will give us the desires of our hearts.

I'm looking for more designers for these scriptures.  I'm getting ready to send out my June digi stamps and if you'd like to help me with examples, just leave a link to your website and your email.  You don't have to commit to doing one every week, just as you have time.

Here are my very spring coloured (yeah it's finally nice here whooo hooo) bookmarks:

And once again Theresa over at The Scrapbooking Queen has blew away my expectations with a gorgeous card.  Look at the use of her colours and how well the papers and her copic work is.

Ruby Tuesday Scripture Freebie ~ Proverbs 3 vs.5-6

Can you believe that it's already May?  In 22 days, my baby girl will be turning 10!!!! I can't believe that she is going to be 10.  I can still remember her being in the Special Care Nursery fighting for her life.  A little 4 1/2 pounder hooked up to tubes and now she's 4'9" and up to my chin!!!!

This is one of the scriptures that got me through this time while I was in the ICU trying to get better from her birth.  It was written out on a card that was taped beside Melody's picture on the side rail so I could read it.  I would love to see any creations you make with this scripture, just leave a link to what you make.

Here is the example that Theresa over at The Scrapbooking Queen made.  I really like the bright and vibrant colours that are so cheerful and springy!!!!
