Jenna's Skirt

I made a little fairy skirt for Jenna.  Jenna is a Maplea Girl and she's from Nova Scotia.  She's like an American Girl but she's from Canada.  Melody wanted me to make them matching ones.  I'm still working on hers but I think Jenna's turned out really cute.  Their skirt has a blue, pink and white pattern to it. =D

Another Valentine Order

Just finished up another order of valentine's.  This one was for 70 cards for 3 different kiddos.  The blue puppies are for the same munchkin.  The little green blubbie is from Pink Cat Studio and the puppy is from... well who else?? Bugaboo Stamps.  hehe  I seriously love Jodie's digi stamps, I find myself over there all the time. =D

Help Me With My *About Me* Page

I'm really horrible at talking about myself on about me pages.  I never know what to say and what would be interesting to other people.  I'm working on my estore atm and was wondering if you all would like to help me with this.  You can ask me just about any question and hopefully that will inspire me on some neat things I could do on my estore.

Ruby Tuesday Scripture Freebie ~ Matthew 5 vs. 16

This week's scripture is one to encourage you to shine as a light for our Saviour.  When others see the light of God shining in us by the things we do, say and live our lives; it will bring them to God.  So often we think (and oh I spent Many years of my early Christian life doing this) that if we just preach the scriptures to others that that is what will bring them to God, but it's living that Christian life that makes others wonder what is special about us and THEN that is a wonderful way to introduce them to your Saviour.

2011 Valentine's For Sale!! =D

I'm currently working on getting my estore up but it won't be ready for you to receive the valentine's before then... so let's do this the long way.  lol

Alrighty, so... here is how it works.....

Each Valentine is 40 cents

Each envelope is 5 cents

Postage ~ I'll get you a quote =D

1. Decide what colour you want:  Dark pink, Light Pink, Light Blue, Dark Blue

(in the pictures it is TOP ROW: dark pink  then light pink

BOTTOM ROW: light blue then dark blue

2.  Decide what designs you want.  They don't all have to be the same and you can order as many as you like.  There are 7 for you to choose from.

3. Need envelopes?  I can make those for you as well.

4. Put what you would like into a Comment at the bottom of this post and your email.  I read my posts before they are published so that info of yours won't be published.

I'll get you a shipping quote and then we'll do things through paypal.  Here is my ebay feedback so you can see my rep. I haven't used ebay in awhile but you get the point. =)

Valentine's Order ~ SOO Cute!!!!!

I just finished up a Valentine's Day order for a friend of mine.  They turned out Soooo cute!!!!

Super Cute Hats

I wanted to share these super cute hats for an order I made earlier this week.  2 newborn hats and a little girls one.  This shade of pink is one of my favourites and it looks so sweet and feminine with a little white trim.  Hope you all have a great weekend and don't forget to come by on Tuesday for a new scripture download. =)

Ruby Tuesday Scripture Freebie ~ Galatians 5 vs. 1

Good morning!! I hope that you will have a great day.  When my daughter Ruby passed away I often found myself sitting around feeling really numb.  I'd often just read and read my bible trying to find some type of comfort, something to explain my grief, some kind of hope that things would be okay and often just needing to stay connected to my Lord.

So often people will pull away from God when a small child passes away.  I didn't want that to happen.  I held her as they took her off of life support and through tears encouraged her to go home to her Saviour.  I'd been a follower for 9 years when she died and I had already been through so much in life and knew that if I just ran into God's arms that He would heal me and hold my hand through the months that were yet to come.

So, I'd like to dedicate the scriptures that I will be sharing with you weekly to my darling daughter Ruby.  I make hats for Toronto's Sick Kids Hospital and if you want to learn more about that and see my sweet Ruby, here's my blog that is set up for parents who's child has received a hat to go to:

Ruby's Heavenly Treasures

This is a scripture that I learned very early in my walk but never truly got until a few years ago.  I always thought that freedom was to make my own choices in this life and try to live a good Christian life.  I know now that the freedom God talks about is our freedom from the consequence of sin.  Jesus paid such a hefty price when He died on the cross for us.  It is through His sacrifice that if we just call on His name and accept Him as our Lord that we will spend eternity with Him.  How amazing that He paid that sacrifice so that I could be free and be able to spend eternity with Him.  I get to see my sweet Ruby soon and a couple other babies that were lost in a miscarriage when it is finally my time to be called home.

Oh My!!! Has It Really Been That Long?? and Something NEW !!!! =D

Oh my!! Have it really been almost 2 months since I last blogged on here.  I apologize my dear blog for ignoring you.  Christmas was pretty hard on me this year and I'm really missing sweet Ruby.  It was our 4th Christmas without her and in just over a month I can't believe that it will be 4 years since she went home to meet her Saviour.

Tomorrow I will be doing something new on Tuesdays.  It's called Ruby Tuesday and it's going to be a digi stamp freebie day.  Scripture is one of the things that has helped me throughout the last few years.  There is so much comfort and wisdom in the Word and I want to be able to share it with others.  These are free and please use them on cards, scrapbook pages or anything else you would like.  All I ask is that you do not resell them or claim the design as your own.
