Fog Brain ~ I Apologize ~ Thursday Question

I've had a rough couple of days.  My son woke up Thursday about 4 in the morning covered in throwup.  He spent the entire day sick and finally was able to get some gravol to stick and he's back to normal as well.  I was nauteous the next night and my husband was nauteous yesterday and today.

So with sickness in mind, what is one of your home tips that helps you feel better when you are sick?

If you think you might have an ear infection, lay on your side with the owie ear facing up, then drop some garlic oil into your ear and let it sit for around 20 minutes.  The garlic helps to disinfect the area and helps to kill germs.  You can get garlic oil at the pharmacy and use a needle to poke a hole into the capsule until the oil comes out easily.  Of course, if it's a really bad infection, go in and get it looked at.

  1. If somebody gets an upset stomach, I've always found that arrowroot or ginger biscuits are a help. If the upset involves runnin' to the toilet, then flat pepsi, or slices of apple usually do the trick :D

  2. I usually drink flat ginger ale when I am feeling nauteous. Or the best rememdy if I can do it....sleep! I guess the body needs to fight it off.
